Requirement
8.0.1.6. Everyone in hearing range must be on camera
Required Often forgotten
All members of the board must be visible to the Scout, and any observers with the Scout must be visible to the board. No one within hearing range on either side is allowed to be off camera. Observers should be minimised at any board of review, and especially at this one.
Notes and warnings
Warning. The one that gets broken by accident. Nobody within hearing range on either side may be off camera — which means a parent listening from the next chair, a sibling at the kitchen table, or a board member who has joined by phone. Ask before starting, out loud, who else is in each room.
